Actually they do take mines quite well compared to others, the guy in that vehicle escaped with a broken leg, wonder what how the plastic bubbles passing off as off roaders would have fared comparitively.

That photo actually looks like it took it reasonably well IMO.

The passenger compartment looks intact. Most modern companies have the crumple zones to lessen the impact to the passengers so these areas might not be made as strong, so it could be reasonable for these areas to be easily destroyed in a blast.
