Hi LR MAX, all of our two-way radios except for the GXT1000, GXT1050, XT511 and MicroMobiles are now classified as FRS radios. I would recommend the X-Talker T71 as it is our most powerful FRS radio. http://midlandusa.com/product/t71vp3/

I'd like to know if your GMRS radios are compatible with RG58A/U antenna cable. I am looking to replace a Uniden CB radio setup with one of the Micromobile units and would very much hate to take apart my interior again just to re-run antenna cable.

Hi whitenoise, the cable is fine, but the connector on the back of the CB might be different from the connector on the back of the GMRS radio, and the antenna would need to be changed.
