Fabtech news
I heard the same thing Friday from a Texas dealer. I contacted Fabtech and let them know that I'd been previously misinformed. The Fabtech Tech Manager stated that the kit would work on the chassis cab. However, he admitted it's a low volume item and is currently on back order. He redirected me back to the dealer and admitted it could be some time before they build one. The dealer said all the Fabtech stuff is on back order because of the Chapter 11 filing and the economy. He said even parts they normally get quickly are taking 8-10 weeks. Bottom line is until Fabtech's situation improves it's unlikely a F450/F550 kit can be obtained. In the meantime I'm looking into Rize, which has a similar radius arm kit.
Fab Tech has a lift for the F450 and F550 listed under NEW PRODUCTS. I contacted Jackit Lift Company, a dealer. Matt said that it was made for the Chassis cab. Check it out. I still only want 4 inches at the most.
