In regards to the hitch extension question, since you have a RB you could use a 20" extension and it would only be like the EB. How many inches of extension would you need to be able to swing the doors open? On my last Baja trip we had a swing away luggage basket with fuel cans. We swung that basket open all the time, constantly getting in and out of the back. This time I'm not carrying any gas cans or a basket.

Thanks for the kind words. Baja, we'll have to link up this summer. I plan on spending quite a bit of time out in Baja and could use some advice/caravan.

I added a taillight on the mx hauler

I also added a few springs to keep the lines out of the door jams and tight around the corners.

I used some fence post hardware to hold the lines away from the exhaust and wrapped it with a bit of pool hose.

I also got some seat covers. Kinda tacky over the leather, but with the dog sitting on it all the time and how dirty I get I figured it was a good idea. My mom finished up the windsheild cover too. Black fabric on the outside, you can't tell there's anything in the window. It just looks tinted.

So, I'm finally done "building" the van. I just need to finish up the wiring on the heaters and pack. I hope I don't jinx it, but I plan on departing Tuesday. The plan is to get to colorado quickly, while still seeing some stuff and making sure the dog is good.

My dad took it out to work today to get some shots of the VAB and ****. He put the camera on the ground for all of them so they all consist of 60% shadow and pavement and the bottom half of the building lol Oh well, I tried cropping the best I could.

The old OPF Orbiter Processing Facility, where Sproket used to work. They would do the tile repairs in here. Boeing bought it for the Orion project.
