Mitsubishi Canter 4x4 Japanese import thoughts?

Hello all,

I have been importing a couple vehicles from Japan over the last couple months and I came across this 1989 Canter 4x4. It was a public emergency vehicle. The thing only has 4,000 miles. I am just curious on your guys option and experience with these.

The weak link is the frame. I have seen a lot with cracked frames. There is a group out of Georgia that specializes in frame replacements but they don't have anything for 4x4 Fuso. I have been trying to get mine fixed for a while.

They aren't built as heavy duty as US commercial trucks.
