1992 Mitsubishi L300 Delica 4x4 turbo diesel camper van. Auto. Great fuel economy; 25mpg. 121k. Clean and solid. Mechanically great. Bed. High roof “Crystal Lite” version with 5 sunroofs! These vans are known for their reliability & robustness.
“Super Exceed” highest trim level has rare features like OEM power curtains that work, factory karaoke machine, mini hot/cold box, and auto sunshades that cover the 4 rear sky lights! Power windows, power locks, steel bush bar, fog lights, tilt angle and altimeter gages, aluminum rims. A/C (although it doesn’t blow cold). Rear heat and a/c. Rear seats go in many configurations including flat and having the rear captains’ seats spin to face the back row. Seats up to 7. Snorkel, turbo timer (allows the turbo to cool down properly so it last longer), alarm w/ 2 remotes, triple hitch receiver, tinted windows, Kenwood stereo, aluminum vented skid plate, & rear ladder. Was legally imported into the US. This is a RHD/JDM vehicle from Japan. Clean Montana title. Now that Delicas are getting a huge cult following, there are many parts suppliers in US. It shares many parts with some other Dodge and Mitsubishi vehicles that were sold in the U.S. so some parts are widely available. With the part-time 4x4, 2-speed hi/low solid-transfer-case, great approach/departure angles, limited slip differential, lockable hubs, & high ground-clearance, this van has good off-road capability. However, unlike a Sprinter they are small enough to function as a daily driver with the footprint of a regular car it can fit in parking spots and in underground parking. Huge interior space (eg., it fits 4'x'8 plywood in the back). The simple diesel engine is commonly used as a base for bio-diesel/veggie oil conversion. Located in Helena, MT $17875 obo.
