"Crosslander is now Mahindra..."
Global Vehicles, the company that plans to import the Mahindra pickup and SUV, was behind the effort to import the Crosslander from Romania. That deal fell through. Global Vehicles found a new partner in Indian tractor and truck maker Mahindra and Mahindra.
Mahindra is definitely looking for world-wide exposure. They have distributors in India (of course), the Middle East, Europe and South Africa. The trucks are sold in Brasil, Uruguay, Chile and, just recently, Peru.
