And they want $579,900.00 peso for it, according to google is $32,828.89 USD. I imagine if they were to bring them here they would hit us with a bunch of additional taxes like "whiny gringo tax" "It's not a Jeep tax" "anal lubrication tariff" and "CEO needs a new Bugatti tax".

I enjoyed the video, thanks for posting...however, I am not sure how relevant it is to ask a race car driver about the various generations of Montero's..... there is almost nothing but the frame in common with what civilians drive compared to a Dakar race prep'd version.

While the Dakar cars were mostly factory special builds, the Gen 3 and 4 Pajeros are regularly used as 4WD desert racers. Geoff Pickering has won the Production class 12 times at the Finke race in Australia where the factory drivetrain and chassis must be retained. Only safety and suspension improvements are allowed to an otherwise stock vehicle platform.
