MJ build

Ok... Got the topper on the truck last night and started pulling some measurement. Between the wheel wells is 44", floor to lid is 38" and the length is 7'-3". What to do? I wanna come straight up from the wheel wells so i can use the doors on the sides for storage. Not much storage, but some. Making it 44" x 38" x 87" of useable space. If i do a raised floor of anykind it starts to cut down on head room, and i dont have alot as it is.

That is a good looking MJ, you've got there.
I really like that leaf spring conversion. I roll an xj myself but, respect to our bedded brethren. :ylsmoke: Just out of curiosity, why are you doing the AW-4 conversion?

I'm on the fence with that. I have knee problems... but its alot of work to switch it over. Probably just drop in another motor and be done.
I did get the winch all wired and working good.

Glad everyone is liking the truck. It's came along way from the 300 dollar truck i bought 3 years ago.
Looks like i'm swapping trannys ... M/C was leaking back in the spring and fluid leaked into the fuse box and ruined it.
(Turn signals work when they want to). :) If i need to pull it to fix it, I'll go with the automatic.

I cut the fuse box out of the donor yesterday. Was going to pull the harness but didnt have days to get it out. After getting home i was afraid i made a awful mistake doing what i did. After running some errands this morning i got started by 4:00pm i was done and all of it worked.:Wow1: Next project is finishing the axles then on to the lift. Looks like i'm getting sent out of town for 6 months for work. So... hope the weather holds out for a bit more.

Making progress on the waggy 44... Gears install, aussie locker in, hi-steer arms in place. Still have some grinding to do tomorrow.
