Is it a Dashcam? Well yes, it can do loop recording and stuff
Is it an action cam? Well cheap waterproof mounts exist
As for us, we stuck it inside the vehicle, and went up a big mountain in deep snow. The results are staggering. I never expected such stellar image quality from this tiny camera which is about 80$ including mounts and accessories for in car purpose!
