I've only been here for 8 years.
I worked for Inchworm Gear while I was living in the bay area (yes, 100 mile commute each way) but I took that job so I could look around for a home up here after work. Once we bought a place, I went out on my own. I don't advertise and my shop is not very easy to find, but if you ask locally, my name is starting to gain traction. I kind of fell into Toyotas though. I have a background building engines for road racing cars, but building trucks was a passion of mine, and I knew all these guys with Toyota crawlers so...

That's awesome, I admire that you've built your business the way you want from the ground up; it's the same story with the two mechanics I visit most heavily: Mudrak's and Yodaman.
Next time I'm up there I'll definitely swing by for the tour, I'd love to take a look at your Rover.
