The generator on our 404 is either not generating, or only increasing battery voltage by 0.5V with engine running at around 2000-2500 rpm.
Can anyone advise how to test the output of the AC generator, or to test the rectification of the Bosch regulator? We would prefer too keep the original system as truck will be presented for an inspection soon to gain an age-related plate.
