Mogollon Rim for Thanksgiving

Looks like a great trip! What Gps software are you using in that screenshot?

I'm using Delorme's TOPO North America Version 10.0 (~$85) but you'll need a GPS antenna. (USGlobalSat BU353-S4 USB GPS Receiver ~$35). I'm pretty happy with the setup as it has provided me with the ability to navigate when cell phone nav fails. However, I might consider 'upgrading' to some type of tablet as the laptop takes up space.

Great trip report. I love that area. I even moved to Payson, AZ for awhile so I could spend some time photographing the Mogollon Rim a few years ago. I recognize some of the locations you photographed. I might have to make a trip out there this winter now. Your trip report has inspired me.
