A documentation of my build.

I will copy the way Sal R. does a write up as I think it is excellent (some of it is copied and pasted because I could not word it better. Thanks Sal!). I doubt I'll go into as much detail per post, but I am happy to answer any questions if possible.

GOAL:
My goal for this weekend warrior/dog carrier is centered around exploring/camping trips. Jack of all trades type of PreLander.
Exploring to me is lots of off-road, but I've also done a lot of on-road adventures and it is fun when you're with good people (i.e. going to Pikes Peak to race, but stopping at MTB parks and fishing spots)ergo, I want this thing to have good road manners. Because of her size, tucked and low slung were a requirement. I did not want to unnecessarily add width and height unless it served a real purpose. (err...width might be coming soon)

MODIFICATIONS:

Here is the LCA uniball Conversion. 1.25" Uniballs with a 3/4" NAS bolt. I bought a 2-5/8 annular cutter. We welded "wedges" onto the knuckle as seen. Then drilled, sleeved, and bored out steering side of knuckle to run through bolt with heim steering.

Lower Links and Panhard I built. PC'd OD Green. I offset the bushings on the links for "rock slideability".
