That has been on ebay for a few weeks at least, I don't think it ever hit its reserve. Im sure getting it registered in a different state scares most people off, including me.

Interesting... I might have to take a look. I'm still new to the Montero scene; is there any specific (other than the usual leak spots and rust) that I need to look for in a '90 Montero? Also, would a 5-speed be an easy swap into this?

I saw this truck this past weekend. The seller doesn't want to budge to far from his asking price (I won't announce what he offered me in respect to his ad and what we discussed). Some things of note:

-Spark plug stuck in #2 cylinder bank (Coil and fuel injector unplugged on same cylinder). Obviously, this causes a misfire. The seller stated the vehicle was ran that way for a few months.
-Interior is in good condition
-Air Pump for rear locker is operational (didn't get to test driveability or if the lockers engaged)
-Clean underbody; little to no rust visible. However, the driver-side footwell carpet was damp (not sure if there was a possible leak through a bad seal)...he mentioned that he recently washed the truck
-It has an aftermarket sound system with speakers (i believe 6x9's) in individual speaker-boxes in the trunk area

He mentioned the truck was purchased from a local friend of his that was into montero's. He mentioned that the previous owner also owns a built '89 SWB Montero... I think that fits the description of Justice.

For both of you... Those look like good rigs although they seem much more expensive there.
Just make sure they've done their maintenance such as timing belt (especially), tune ups, etc. on time.

That's my old GrassCat that Justice had. It was a California truck before making it way back east with him. That truck has been to Alaska, Mexico, Canada and all over the western USA when I owned it. It should be called Jep-zee.
