When I saw his post, I did a quick Google search and got an online quote of $895 from San Juan to the port of Jacksonville, FL. Then if you wanted it to shipped to Idaho, it would probably be another $800-$1000.
I tried looking on Puerto Rico Craigslist, but I guess they don't use it as much as we do. So, I found an online classifieds that had a bunch of Monteros, but the prices were about the same as the US, so it wouldn't make sense to me unless there was that one perfect one someone was looking for.

i found a bunch of 700-1500 monteros on one site a few mins ago, this ones got 75k and is only 2500

Sorry guys just logged back in. So cheapest shipping I've found is through Crowley marine from San Juan to Jacksonville, FL. Around 750-800
And clasificados pr is the go to here. Lots of Dakar editions etc. gen 2s are everywhere. I just picked up a gen 1 SWB.
As far as diesels haven't seen many for sale but saw a sweet SWB diesel the other day near my house that looked like new!!

My other thread has pics of my SWB. It's a little rough on the paint side but no rough. Mild body lift with 33s. V6 auto with 165k. Recent water pump, radiator, timing belt. And i got it for 2500

Your right. There are quite a few nice ones, however I'm not having much luck using Google translate to translate the descriptions. I guess I should have learned Spanish from my ex-wife who was Colombian.
