Well I finally installed the lift and purchased new tires as well.

I also added a Front Runner Roof Rack.

Here it is on 30 mile trail to Pioneer-Town36137431_10216528409986530_7000878348398231552_o.jpg36176308_10216528395706173_6459344218606272512_o.jpg36176490_10216528407386465_9008800719196651520_o.jpg36189290_10216528397266212_3364948907518853120_o.jpg36258448_10216528400386290_761456074757767168_o.jpg

Just finished up a 700 mile trip to the Eastern Sierras... The Montero performed beautifully. I took it on a lot of washed out roads and some mud. Highway driving is smooth and the interior is roomy and comfortable!

Since July I added some Rock Road sliders and some Jerry Cans.

My next plans are lighting.

Just installed an Odyssey AGM and am now looking for a lighting solution. Next week I am headed to Goose Gear for a custom drawer setup!DSCF1077.jpg2018-07-28 16.32.36-1.jpg2018-07-28 19.39.59-1-1.jpg2018-07-29 12.18.43-1.jpg2018-07-29 13.02.44-1.jpg2018-07-28 11.24.14-1.jpg2018-07-28 14.31.53-1.jpg2018-07-28 15.00.54-1.jpg2018-07-28 16.16.27-1.jpg

@ChrisCosta416 I love your build. The stance is perfect with the 265's + OME. I really feel like there is no reason to go any bigger for what I will be doing. Lined up for my Gen 3: I have the OME medium ready and waiting on Bilsteins to come in(should ship this week according to 4wheelparts). Any insight into MPG through your build(before, after lift/tires/armor/racks)? How are you liking the General ATX's? I have been really wallowing on tire choice, as I will most likely do a lot of highway driving, a few offroad trips (nothing overly rocky, muddy), and couple trips to snowy areas. I have done a few 2000+ mile road trips so far and starting to backtrack on the lift/tires as I don't want to sacrifice too much on the highway (19 mpg with steady cruise control). Great reading your build thread, thanks for the inspiration on mine.

Glad you like it! MPG did drop. The sliders IMO are what really affected it. I have been liking the ATX tires so far. Not too loud and great off road.
