moog cc880s rubbing on knuckle of e350

Hi all, I am having issues where both sides of these springs are rubbing on the knuckles of my ford e350 2002 7.3. I will attach the pictures. I have tried to move the spring but it's almost flush with the retaining clip at the top of the spring. Anyone else have this issue? It's causing noise and just wanted to know if there's something I could do. Thanks

Mine does the same. Never noticed a noise. In my case it barely touches. I’m curious if there’s a solution.
Would a 1/4” spacer under the spring help?

Can they be turned a bit so the open part of the spring is in that position?

The top of the spring is fixed so it cannot be turned.

I forgot they fit in a certain spot on top.
That doesn't seem right that they would rub like that.

It will cause the spring to braek after long term! You need a spacer.

Thanks I was wondering about that. Kinda stinks because it will throw the alignment and give me more lift than I want right now. Of course I don't have the stock springs anymore
