What's the best way to wire up my AC outlet from the Morningstar? Is it possible to buy a nice power strip and wire that directly to the inverter, or do I need to do a typical outlet, and plug a power strip in to that?

WhAt inverter did you buy? If it is the sure sine wave 300, you can wire the power strip to it directly. That is the nice thing about that inverter, along with the Ability to wire a remote on/off switch.
