Most mileage on a JK?

Didn't know it was low on oil until the oil pressure light came on. by that time it only had about two quarts left in it.

Don't fathers teach their kids to check the oil every time you get gas anymore? Even my 18 year old daughters do this.

When did Chrysler start using that engine? Isn't it the same one from a mid 90s Caravan? I think it has been around quite a while.

With an 80 series LC you must be checking oil every other day.....:coffeedrink:

Nope. Mine does ok, pretty consistent 16 on the bitumen and 10 or so on tracks. I average 12.5 in mixed driving. I try not to DD it because of the miles and I have A Toyota 4x4 Hilux with a 4 banger for that. I don't want it to get lot rot and start leaking, though, so I do drive it to work occasionally.
