You'll have to add me to the list of folks that just don't get it on this one.
$4k for a motoped? There is a KX 65 (that has been configured for an adult) on craigslist for $850 right now. motoped = 115 pounds, kx-65 = 132 pounds.
I think a lot of people "just don't get this one" on this product.
-These bikes easily meet the requirements to be taken off-road when used with the smaller engine and a spark arrestor in just about every state (as far as I'm aware).
-Can't go in a certain area because "no motor vehicles are allowed"? Turn off the engine and start peddling.
-Want to avoid getting stuck in traffic in a big city but avoid pedaling many miles all the way across town? Problem solved.
If your goal is to ride trails and go fast all the time, don't get this bike.
If your goal is only to ride a mountain bike all the time, don't get this bike.
It's just a tool. If you have no use for it, choose a different tool
