New symptom on the driver home before my Aftermarket Temp Gauge had gotten to normal operating temperature my stock gauge ran up like a rocket to the red Line. I was on the side of the road in a sec to turn the rover off, but as soon as I stopped the gauge went back down. The rest of the way home she was fine as long as a stayed under 30. Oh and the plugs and wires all look good. I thing the temperature sensor might be the problem with the stock gauge, however I'm still at a loss for the to fault codes.

For the temp shooting up so fast test for air in the cooling system. I had pretty much same thing happening, and it was air in the system.

Bleed the system from air and hopefully that will solve the temp guage problem.

Im sure thats in in the end. I thats why I'm going to sell the rover even thought I love it. I don't have the time in my life to keep fixing this car myself and I can't afford to pay someone to do it.

Cloud the Faults be form Low Grade gas? I pretty careful about using premium but thats doesn't mean I might have by mistake. My Jeep takes good old Regular.

thanks

Nate
