Motor Trend compares Jeeps from 1945 and 2012

To expensive and they took the idea a little too far I think. While I appreciate the concept, its just a little too far away from the roots.

In my opinion someone needs to offer a 'new' flat fender jeep that could directly compete with the side by side market. I have thought about it a LOT....but to be honest, without a full 'factory' OEM backing it would be REALLY REALLY hard to build one new and sell it for like 12-13K AND make a profit.

Yep, that's been my exact thought process on that idea as well.
