Tucson T4R said:I have a Waeco fridge so this is not a specific Engle reply. I used to just run the Two Zone remote lead wire under the lid but over time, the repeated closing of the lid damaged the wire. This last weekend, I drilled a hole about 2 inches from the top and ran the remote sensor wire though the hole. I sealed the hole with black silicone.
I have heard the Engle has a access port that is filled with clay so it can be removed and resealed???

I would like to find this clay filler port if it is on my Engel as my wire is beign smashed by the lid as well. Don't know how long it will last like this?

Remove two screws on the top of the back of fridge (below the controls)
The top panel with the knob will come off.
Remove the two white pins that hold the white plastic within the fridge
There's clay under there. Run your wire.
Reform clay and re install in reverse order...
