Kenwood - HAM Radio (TM-281A).

On my last trip my trusty Baofeng Radio just stopped working. I had it for about 4 years, so can't complain. I almost bought another Baofeng, but I also wanted a built in unit.

I don't know a lot about communication VHF/UHF and so on... I just wanted something simple so I can talk with my buddies on the trail and that it would fit in the slot next to the gear shiftier. I went with the Kenwood TM-281A fit like a glove and the install was very straight forward.

Here are the pictures of the install.

Truck is SOLD.. will be missed, but i'm very exited to see what the new owner does with it.

Man, you sold it! I've been out of the loop for a little bit. What's next? Or did I miss that?

Oops...just read back a little. Congrats...I do t think you'll be disappointed with the Runner. I can't seem to part with mine...I love it too much. Your buddy's black trail with the ARB looks killer. Is he happy with it?

Thanks man, I really like the 4Runner. It's very solid, and I know it will be killer on the trail.

I really didn't want to sell the Tacoma, but "Happy Wife, Happy Life" ********..!!

My buddy Alejandro loves his 4Runner, it's a dedicated wheeling/camping rig. He just put the new 5th Gen Safari Snorkel. To be honest, I think the older 10-13 ARB Bull Bar fits the 5th Gen better than the New 14-17 Summit Bar. You should pass by ARB in Jacksonville, my buddy Eric just put on a color matched Bull Bar on his 4th Gen V8 4Runner

Yeah a lot of people knock the ARB 5th gen bumper....I think it looks great and I can only imagine that the quality be equally as good. I met Eric last time I was out there...super nice guy.

My T4R isn't nearly as well kitted as yalls rigs but would love to meet up with you guys in the future.

In my opinion, ARB is one of the cleanest, and best flowing bumpers. They also provide the A+++ customer service and the warranty is unbeatable.

Keep me in the loop when you plan your next trip, I'll do the same. I know we have started to talk about Easter Weekend, but looks like a few of my buddies can't, maybe a solo trip for me and my fam. P.M. me if you'd like to join us, thinking of doing Ocala and or Inverness.

We also meet up almost every Thursday for drinks and talk about trips. I know am far from you, but if your ever in the South Florida area let me know.
