I have a Hobart Handler 140 and its totally up to the task. I use the hell out of mine with flux-core. Its built some trailers, Jeep frames and even the control arms and steering for my van.
$750 for the full grill (deer killer model) sure seems like a lot of money for something that's still going to require several hours of work. I charge myself a high labor rate. I'm curious to see if anybody builds one of these here though.
Its ~$500 for any other front bumper option, and ~$400 for a rear. Iron Cross bumpers would be ~$2000 before shipping by comparison. Those are your 2 cheapest options.
If you do go Iron Cross take it straight to Line-X before bolting it on. I'm watching mine peel and rust after a year in the northeast.
