Unless weight is an issue, there are a many more affordable options for vehicle dependent use.

Windows are only on two sides, so it will be scorching hot.
No screen door, only screen windows so this will have a lot of bugs in it.
Specs say it is polyurethane and silicone coated, no taped seams - that means you'll have to seal the seams yourself and re-waterproof it every year since there is no rainfly.
Snap in floor - this is code for "all creepy crawlers have free access to this tent"

Is all that worth $700? I don't think so, but if it's the perfect tent for what you need, then the price doesn't matter so much.

I am looking for a tent I can "bump" up to the back of a vehicle to extend living space...this may not be ideal...
