This thread is great - we'll be doing the mostly same trip but in reverse before year's end. Starting in Vancouver we'll head down I5 to meet family in Cali then take our time coming back up the California and Oregon coastal highways and the Olympic Peninsula, time permitting. If you don't mind, I'll PM you for details of the motels/B&B's you stayed at since we won't be doing any camping on this trip. Thanks.
