My 1985 F-250 Diesel Build

No backstory, transmission came out of a 97 F-450. My guess is it had bad motor/trans mounts and they overloaded it. Oddly enough it looks like it's been re-painted so it may have been a remanufactured unit at one time.

If you do get a BB trans you can just swap the case too!

But if I found a case it would like have all the guts in it too... my M5OD is working for the moment so it isn't really urgent though.

ZF is stupid overkill for a Ranger... I just want the combination of a creeper first gear AND OD. My M5OD is geared more like a car transmission. But then I get down the rat hole of do I do a transmission swap or just get a doubler until the urge passes lol.
