I'm guessing spring over with OME springs, which would be at least 6" of lift, right? Does it fit in the garage? I remember hearing about someone who did a frame off and while restoring they did a SOA conversion. Turned out to be too tall to fit under the door, had to flat the tires to get it out.

Yes SOA with OME heavy duties. Needed that for the 50 gallon Opposite Locke fuel tank. No it dosent fit. Mostly because of the ARB roof rack that isnt in the picture. It's probably more like 8" of lift.

Here's the engine and tranny.

I bought an already imported HJ60 cruiser. Titled and licensed it here in Washington, then drove it up to Vancouver Island where it got the frame off and the new 1HZ engine. Well Im not sure. With the 50 gallon main tank and two five gallons jeep (doh) cans she's got around a 1400 mile range. I was thinking a road trip up to Alaska.

I was a crew chief in the Army for 5 years. I remember one of my pilots being a ****************** when I asked how much fuel he wanted on board. "Son, the only youve got to much fuel on board is when youre on fire, fill her up!"

From a fellow Pacific Northwesterner, Nice rig! Awesome.

I'm just curious what kind of gas mileage it gets. And how power the diesel makes.

Brain, it should get around 24mpg if I drive it nicely. Ill let you know soon enough. Power wise. 200hp and 285 ft pounds of torque. Should be fine. If I intercooled it it would be around 320 ft pounds.
