Thanks all.
I wish I had more to update... I did get the AEV front skid installed. It felt good to toss the plastic air dam I had trimmed to work with the bumper. And for the time between wheeling trips, I have some steps on to help ease access for my increasingly pregnant wife! But rest assured the Rubicon rails are ready to go on when needed.
But other than that, efforts to work on or really use the Jeep have been held back by the fun combination of 11 furlough days and prepping the house for the baby due at the end of August. The plus is I've gotten most of the stuff done on the Jeep I had planned. The minus is that the remaining items aren't cheap (AEV rear bumper, regearing) and I have no idea when I'll get to them.
All I can add for now are a couple of pics after the skid install and after ditching the hard top for the soft top for the summer...
