First of all this is my first post here on ExPo, though I have been reading for quite some time. I may not have the time and resources to go on all the adventures you have been on, but I truly enjoy reading about all of them and want to say thank you for posting your experiences for all of us.
My 2012 started with a very important announcement in 2011. It was my wife’s birthday and after the normal gift exchange she hands me a box all wrapped up. I’m thinking this is a bit strange as this is HER birthday. The box was light and about the right size for that “I am the STIG” t-shirt I’d been eyeing. Well, it was a t-shirt but was not one I was expecting. This t-shirt let me know that I was going to be a daddy in 2012.
Knowing that my days were numbered, I started going on a few short day trips as often as the boss would allow. I have not ventured far from my home in Tucson, and mostly went on quick day runs in southern Arizona. I do love exploring and any chance to get out and wander around is one I will take.

In a bend in the creek there is a privately owned structure that used to be an old still house
