My 4x4 overlander chevy van

After searching for months for an awd recent chevy van at a reasonnable price

I bought a 90 gmc vandura converted to 4x4 via a 99 gmc 2500 ….
350 tbi, nv4500 ( manual ) , 3:73 , 14 bolts semi floating rear diff ,
The body is mint ,rust free,
It is a project to complete : needs bumpers ,some electrical work ,otherwise it runs steers ,

I have a 14 bolt semi floater rear differential on the van
Id like to install a torq locker TL-19035
anyone has this setup ? Good or bad idea ?

Cool rig. Very similar to my first moto vans, probably what started it all for me 10 or more vans ago.

I have not seen anyone on here fooling with the old Chevy bodies. Worth a try but you might have better luck on some vintage Chevy forums. Stick around and share your journey with us though! It's always good to see unique rigs everyone else isn't doing.

My favorite upgrade by far on mine was good old Chevy rally wheels with center caps and chrome trim rings. Still a classic look. Not sure if they were ever made for 2500 axles though.

I wish I had some pics of my old van, one of my all time faves.

I definitely have to get better wheels , those are the ones we used to paint the van ,but it’s winter here , the van is stored ,
Starting to plan my spring season 🤗

Oupssss torq locker is for 10.5 inch gear 14 bolt diff
Mine being semi floater it’s powertrax 1950-LR that fits
