My 550 build The "Ford Escape"

Was over at my local welder helping to finish my mega roof rack and solar Aray. Welding it on tomorrow. It will have 1/4" aluminum plate across the back for my motorcycle lift to attach to.

On the truck! 2 brackets to weld on the front, and the 1/4 plate to close in the back.

Weekend progress. Got the bathroom roughed in. Still need to build the door and line the walls and ceiling with FRP. Got the shower pan in and plumbed and the Natures Head installed. Kitchen cabinet, counter and stove cabinet done. Also got sink and grey water tank in.

Distressed barn wood paneling. Cedar on the ceiling tomorrow.

Got the ceiling done. Very frustrating and slow. Lots of cursing involved but it does look good. Took a few days off and had a buddy from Tacoma Mountain Rescue visit so we headed out west to the Mt Stelfox Via Feratta.

Lots of wiring done. Got all the propane lines plumbed. Grey water tank is plumbed. Stove/range is in.

Wiring and water lines today. Wiring in my solar panels and batteries. Got a great deal on two 415 AH Rolls 6V AGM batteries! pictures to follow later.

All the wiring is done except to put in my ACR to the road batteries when it gets here from Amazon. Also I thought I ordered the Victron Smartsolar but when I went to install it was the Bluesolar so I have a wifi Dongle coming!

Electrical is done, gas (propane) is done, and all my water lines fresh and grey tank are all done and tested.
Just cabinets and the FRP for the bathroom, flooring etc. for the inside. All the finicky parts are done.

Bent up some stainless for the stove mount and heat shields.

My daughter and boyfriend (both cabinet makers were up this weekend. Despite 2 long Rescues with our Mountain Rescue team we got a lot done. I figure with all the interruptions with rescues during this build I should have banked a crap load of Karma for when we actually get to use it. We have a SAR campout and pig roast next weekend. Going to take the truck even though its not done!
