I am a Audi technician and do all but the fab work on my Disco. If there is anything I can contribute I will try. Look forward to a few extended expeditions in the near future. Heading to MOAB with my primary 4x4 club, frontrange 4x4 March 26-April 2nd if anyone is interested in joining us.

At first I was wondering why you chose to use an Allroad compressor and tank, but since you are an Audi tech it makes sense. So are you a dealer tech? Certified, Expert, Master? I ask because I am an Audi tech as well, although currently unemployed due to the economy. Did you attend the Audi Academy? Nice looking rig!:smiley_drive:

Yes. Certified Audi tech working at Prestige Audi in Lakewood, CO. I have 3 spare allroad compressors sitting around which all pump air still. Just have bad pressure sensors. I plan on hooking them up on a toggle to a tank which can be bought for $10 locally. Set up a pressure guage where it is easy to read.

I do go to training for Audi but did not go to formal training. I am a student of "it's broke and I am NOT paying that much to fix it so I bought tools and fixed it myself" ;)

RIGHT ON! I totally agree with that, I'm a long time student of that school as well. However, in CA, where I'm from, that school isn't good enough for a resume. Are you guys staying busy out there or has work tailed off since in the last year?

It is hard to say, we have been pretty busy lately but we are down a few techs, some quit in the past year and we did not replace them. I think we are technically still slow but with less techs here we stay pretty busy.
