Yeah, and I am still waiting on photos of your Magg set-up, your Outback Drawer system and you can add this to the list if you'd like!

OK, sorry for the photos or lack thereof. In regard to the dual handset comment, what I meant was a spot for the handset to connect to the radio itself instead of the control head. I am mounting the face at the overhead console, but want the handset connected to the radio which will be under the seat. Make sense? The Yaesu connected at the face which if mounted remotely requires that the hadset be connected to it. I don't want the hadset cord dangling in front of the rear view mirror.

I ran all of the cables and wiring in the last few days and will be mounting the radio tomorrow under the passenger seat.

Yaesu clarification

Just so that you know, the Yaesu can be installed with a remote location for the mike. All you have to do is to run an extension line from the remote head back to wherever you want the mike to plug into. Many choose the center console, then they can unplug the mike and hide it away when not in use.

The extension line can, of course, run back to the transceiver as well. This line appears to be a phone line, but I understand that one purchased for this purpose has RF protection built in.
