LGTD is just down the road from me. I was curious if anyone was doing a off road trailer with their components.

Im looking forward to the end result.

I retract my last statement which makes sense now. lol. Looks like they must have moved to Ohio. The last time I went by LG in Elkhart it appeared to be shut down like 90% of the RV places there.

I may be looking into a teardrop as well, this summer.

I suffered from some Expo Portal withdrawal; the hotel I was in in China charged a leg and an arm for internet access, which meant that frugal me kept internet to an minimum.

Just caught up with your thread. Looking good!!!

Chris said you can order the "Hilldweller" model if you want the large offroad platform with full galley.
Gave me a warm feeling... :sombrero:

I fired him a message off of his website. I think I would finish the interior on my own. I could probably get it done pretty cheap and exactly the way I would want it.

He does "shells" for a very fair price.

Latest word is that he'll bring it right to my office at lunch on Monday.
Incredible.

That IS pretty damn impressive. He has got it down to a science for sure. Cant wait to check this thing out... in the mean time, we are getting ready to head out in a few hours. Getting the camper ready now...

Hope we can camp with you guys on its maiden voyage.

Bill, will we get a video tour like the Conqueror? I can't wait to see the new rig - maybe sometime next month ...

You can fit in that?
6'x10' shell, king bed. You betcha.
Have a good trip, dude; you must be stoked...

It's a beauty. How productive will you be at work on Monday? "Cancel my afternoon appointments, I'm swamped" :wings:
I already can't sleep and am partially zombified.
I asked my manager for a "get out of jail free card" for Monday.

Have fun and take some pictures.
We're going to go somewhere next weekend --- location depends on weather. Maybe even Mt Pisgah.... ....not sure yet. I still want to try Ft Mountain too.
Would you want to camp two weekends in a row?

Of course!
I'm pretty sure Chris will do a video of it and put it on his website too. This is their most elaborate offroad build yet.

Would I WANT to? Hells yeah.

Will I be allowed to? Probably not, but I will see what happens.

It kinda depends on how this weekend goes... thats why I am not saying anything as I am currently watching baskets and baskets and baskets of un-needed crap being loaded into two cars and a camper for a two day 'camping' trip with the new addition.

That parts gets better though... After the first two trips by ago 9 months, we scaled it back to the pack-n-play, diaper bag, and clothing back. Not "light" by any means, but much better than the first two trips.

And to keep things relevant.. can't wait to see the finished setup of the trailer! Congrats on a cool build.

Stump, enjoy everything while you can. When the next one comes along, it's a small bag, couple of disposable diapers and a couple of things of food and you are good to go ...

Have fun on the first of many family trips!
