I'm relatively new to the Expo world but it definitely tickled my fancy.

I want to build my Jeep TJ into a camper/ crawler entailing:

- a fold up canvas tent
- sleeping platform / cooking platform
- a slide out drawer with sink and stove unit
- some sort of awning
- tire carrier mounted cargo / bike rack.


All of it will fold up and stow away nicely into the jeep.

Maybe you could make the whole tent and sleeping platform slide out like a drawer for a quick set up?

I can't find it right now but there is a Rover guy (from BC I think) with a thread on here showing his drawer like sleeping platform. It slides out, tent and all and allows him to sleep half in/ half out of his rover (D90 if I recall correctly)

the sleeping platform so far: it still needs some canvas and the PVC will be on hinges. It will fold flat onto the board and stow away nicely.

the coleman 1 burner propane stove next to the sink i'll be using.

how part of it stows away on the tire carrier

the platform inside the jeep (ignore the subwoofer box that is sittin on top of it)

the entire package stowed away with room on the sides of the futon for the canopy, of course.

And yes it's a bit small. 2 would be too tight a squeeze but i don't mind going alone so i can :ylsmoke:
