My Camper

I'm really liking this. I like how you made it as a cap instead of a slide in. That should save a whole lot of weight.

As it sits right now, me and a buddy can lift it into the back of the truck. Its a little awkward, but totally possible. I'll be building or re-purposing something for some jacks in the future.

The roof is painted and back on. Raised to the final up position and braced. Next is the fabric.

Updates!

Today was a big day. Got the rag hung.....It no longer rains in my camper!!

The fabric went up without incident, and re-installed the window. Next comes the fabric trim and drip edge.:friday:

That looks to be a very professional installation.

Will you be fitting an internal bungee to pull the fabric inwards when the roof is lowered?
 
Fantastic build! It's on a Ford too! ;)

How are you going to "control" how the material folds as you lower it? Is it off set at the top, slightly inside along the roof than at the base?
