My first Bigfoot

I recently bought a 98 10.6 drybath Bigfoot and am puzzled by the battery compartment? I do not see any means of securing the batteries, anyone know how? The only thing in the compartment is 4 holes in the "floor" with plastic tubes going outside (vents?)

Congrats on your purchase! Fellow "vintage" Bigfoot owner here — 99 dry bath, too!

My battery compartment had some rather suspect loops that were screwed into the floor of the compartment. There was a basic nylon cam strap wrapped around the battery and thru those, to secure it. Maybe 2x of these cam strap setups? I can't quite recall that detail.
