My first Elegant trogon

Linda and I have been tring to find the Elegant trogon for the pass three years. Last weekend we found it along Cave Creek near Portal, Az. Those are all great photos, Randy.

My first elegant trogon was in Cave Creek too, on an ornithology class field trip. 1986, I think. They were even more difficult to find then. I think they were still called coppery-tailed trogons then.
