We just rolled in from several days on the road in our journey to pick up my new/used Flippac. We survived the crappiest Motel 6 that we have ever stayed in, a close call with an Elk, almost running out of fuel, living in a Wal Mart parking lot, and smelling dog farts for 2000 miles, but I would do it all over again if I had to.
I have wanted a flippac for my truck since I first viewed one on here several years ago, but the cost made it unobtainable at the time. In the mean time, I purchased a shell and had a nice camping system that worked for our family (two adults and two Boxers, the dogs, not the fighters). After a few adventures, we realized that we disliked having to pack up our setup each day, only to unpack it a few hours later after we arrived at our next spot. The Flippac became more appealing to me, and even more appealing, and more important, to my fiance.
Thanks to the forum and two forum members, we were able to make a used Flippac purchase and have it outfitted and painted by AT. Many thanks to Agavetraveler and PTO for getting this three way transaction worked out. Though we are in Austin, TX, site unseen, and taking only the word of forum members that I only knew from Expo, we pulled the trigger and had the camper dropped off at AT to get some work.
My second round of thanks goes to Martyn and the staff at AT trailers. Though they were only doing service to the shell and the install, they treated me as if I had bought a brand new shell from them. Whether we talked about the work to be done on the phone, email, or in person, the conversations were all timely and professional.
Originally the Flippac was white with two sliding windows and we had AT paint it black, add one windoor, LED lights, and a professional install on site. Here is the final product:

Sadly, I don't have a pic of it deployed from outside, but here are two photos from our first night after we left Prescott. We arrived in Ruidoso around midnight and set up the flippac:
What the pictures don't show is that we were in the Walmart parking lot and loving every minute of it. Well, maybe not loving it, but if you are on the road, and need to stop for the night its actually pretty convenient. We really felt like ski bums, but it was only for the night.
I am just excited to have it on my rig and wanted to share.

One of many refueling stops. I lost about 1 mpg, maybe less compared to my other shell, but it was on par with the bed loaded up with bins and a tarp:
