Started with a very rough frame donated by the best neighbor I've ever had. Army surplus stock that had been used by TVA as a welding trailer for at least 40 years. Purchased and the old rusty tub removed.
Angle iron tub frame tacked into place and painted. The paint color was NOT my idea but my daughters, But hey it's Tennessee..everything is orange. The angle iron came from old bed rails, this is an economy build.
PT plywood starts the makeup of the new tub. Most of the original dimensions have been preserved. It is just a couple inches taller but angles and base dimensions are mil-spec.
Rear gate with fabricated hinges. It also serves as a ramp/step into the back when removed and reconnected to the drop bracket fabricated for the receiver hitch. This is hillbilly - use what you got engineering at its best.
