Chassis has been sprayed with added protection against rust. The old recovery points have been removed and will be redesign and reinforced. And the electrical work, well, let's say it was a bit superfluous and not so well organized.

Picked up some new rubber to replace the Maxxis. I wasn't happy with the Big Horns. I found that they wore too easily and didn't have great grip on rocks and underperformed in the sand. In mud they were oh-kay, not as good as the KM2s I previously had on there. Definitely excited for the

Cooper STT pros! Read really great reviews about them.

Let us know how the STT Pros perform! I've been considering them for my next set of tires for the Safari, but haven't had a chance to talk to anyone that's used them on their rig.

Definitely. All the guys I talked to that have them love them, so I don't expect anything different with mine. They won't be going on until around December but as soon as they do I am taking them right to the jungles of Peten!

Beginning to piece the exterior back together for fresh paint.

Testing out whether I like the color gun metal gray for the wheels, or graphite, whichever way you look at it they are a dark gray. Conclusion was, yes! They are a go. I think they will look great with the new quicksand/camel color.

Thanks! She's come a long way! These rigs are super tough!

The tires are 35x12.50R15. I'm switching out the Maxxis Big Horns for the Cooper STT Pros (same size).

They look huge. Due to their lower body profile, tires always look big on Y60 Patrols (vs Defenders).
