I hear ya. It's very frustrating. I run into a lot of this too....."yea, we can do the work, no problem. it's an easy fix".......2-3 days later......"ah man, your car is totally messed up. now this and this is not working and I need to source the parts from the capital. It's going to take another 5 days".

I know!... At least here, it's like... man.. all I need is spark plugs, or something simple, and they'll tell me they need to get the part from Santiago. Which evidently takes 2-3 days. I'm like, don't you have a phone?... Then there's some logic I just don't understand that they try and give me. LOL!

I just hope your Patrol isn't in the shop too long. Hang in there.

Took off the front bumper in anticipation of all the mods to come. Take one last look at her because my next post will be ARB'd out!

Got the GQ shorty back today. The OME suspension lift ended up raising her a whole 4"!!! The ARB front bar looks fantastic and the snorkel looks great! Overall very satisfied with the upgrades. The 3 hour drive home from the capital proved to show no issues.

Tomorrow I will be taking the shorty to my buddies garage to have the 33x12.5R15 BFG KM2s installed and see if he can re-install the PIAA LP570s to the front bar. Then, later on around the 26/27 March I will have the custom fit ARB Touring roof rack installed as well as the 9500 lb synthetic rope winch.

I will post pics this weekend once the tires are installed. As it stands, 31" tires just look funny on a 4" lift.

Super excited to say the least!!!

Cool man! Glad that you like the end result. Are 33's gonna fill a 4" lift? That's quite a bit.

I did the SOA on the back of my Daihatsu last week and it lifted the back end 16" over the tires. It was a full 8" higher in the rear than in the front. The front already has a 2.5" lift. You may have seen the photos that I put of it on instagram. It was quite funny looking. Just to be clear, I'm NOT comparing how I think the patrol looks to how my Daihatsu looked. LOL

Very cool! Even though it's got a 4" lift, it doesn't look too extreme. I think it's a really nice balance. Glad you like the way the mods are turning out!
