the mount to the roof is very robust. the bottom of the tent has intergrated track that have brackets that slide in and then attatch to the crossmembers of the rack. If I had known better, I would've bought a LabRack.
The tent runs $2495 + shipping, so far no regrets!!
Oh, the customer service from Bobby Culpepper far exceeded my expectations, the guy is fawesome!!!

We're starting in Cartagena Columbia on 4/23 and plan on hitting Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Chile, Argentina to Ushuaia then back North to catch the Dakar Rally.
My goal is to hit the three "A's", Amazon, Andes and Atacama, everything else will be a bonus!
