I picked it up today, and when i got there, the guy had wired new brake lights and a 4 flat hook up to the trailer for me, at no extra cost. Here it is when i picked it up.

The last picture shows the new brake lights that were added. They guy also gave me a set of bearings and axle seals. I really like the how the trailer turned out, he put no skid on the inside of the bed to cover the pitting. The tires couldnt be any more brand new, they still had the rubber piecese sticking off of them. I had to pull it about 100 miles home, and empty the trailer pulls great. Im excited to get a lid on it and then an RTT, hopefully by the end of summer, unless i buy a house. But on the first of july My wife and I and our dog Moose are heading out west to see my family. Cant wait for the trip.

Yea i plan on doing that this week, its a three inch difference between the upper and lower. If i ever get a custom bumper, itll sit just at 26" which is what the upper is. Or atleast thats what the manual says.

Nice little trailer. I just sold my m416 about a month ago and wish I still had it. I purchased a Horizon trailer from AT and just waiting for it to be built. If you have the tow package on your rig and a 7way rv plug it might be something to consider for the trailer also. This way you can charge a battery ect if your build goes that way. Hear is a picture of the one I had and the lid I built for it.

Thats a nice trailer, simple but still a solid lid. My father came up with a decent idea to keep the weight down for a lid, use a truck bed tonneau cover and modify it to fit. If i did that i would put steel cross memembers in it so i can mount an RTT on it. How much did you sell your trailer for if you dont mind me asking? And have fun with the horizon, i couldnt afford one of those if i sold an arm and a leg.

Thats why when i found this one, didnt know it would be such a good deal at the time, i bought it. I ended up with a GREAT deal. The guy that i bought it from stands behind his work 100% so if i need anything or anything comes up, all i gotta do is call him and then go see him. And he is close enough (unless im out west) i can do that. If you live in Mass let me see if i know a guy that might have one, need to dig through my emails.

I put the lunette on the bottom hole, and it sits just about perfect. There is a very minor rake. I guess ill just have to get a custom bumper and or bigger tires.

So its been a while since ive posted here, but ill go ahead and drop a line. After picking up the trailer the end of June, my wife and i pulled it to Wyoming from Ft Meade MD. Ended up being 4617 miles i think. Then i pulled it another 500 the weekend i got home. Its been a great trailer so far, only taken it off road a little bit but what i did i can not wait to get into the real back country with it. Getting a lid built for it while im in Florida so that i can put an RTT on at the end of the winter for next summers camping season. All in all its a great trailer well worth the money. Pictures to come sometime soon.
