A Very nice design, One thing I do notice on the BLACK items on my trailer is that they get wicked HOT in the sun.

Yeah, we had it out last weekend with a sunny 95* day and it was hot, but not too hot to touch.

Thanks! Yeah, the reason for a vinyl top instead of hard top is that I want to be able to use this to haul household things as well, if need be. Such as, if I have to go get a load of mulch, or move a fridge, or whatever. I felt a soft top kept my option open more.
Yep, there is a tailgate that has heavy duty hinges and chain. It's strong enough for me to stand on, and is smooth on the inside so I can use it as a table top.

I bought my vinyl cover here http://www.mytarp.com/machine-covers.aspx
They call it a machine cover. Works great and I bought bungie rope for easy access.
Looks great behind the jeep.

Thanks for the info, Mark. I actually saw your post a few weeks ago when I was doing some research on tops. That is exactly what I am planning to do, except I think I'm going to use snaps.
