My Omani Nissan Patrol intro

Well I'm two weeks into owning this benemoth on wheels, and still like it !

4.8 ltr with 280 horsies under the hood and 425 nm of torq at 3500rpm

Manual
Factory roll cage
95 ltr main tank and a 40 ltr sub tank with electric switch
Light guards front and rear

I painted the rears already- the fronts to change to black too and probably the rims as well

I put on my 285 75R16's KM2's and they don't even look big

as a note these are the same size as 33's on my old disco that required a 4" lift to clear them

The vehicle comes with a pintle hitch- labled do not use for towing....straight pull only for recovery.

So it can take a straight pull of 2500kg but can't tow a trailer ?......

well my little camping one should be OK

So I fabbed up a mount for a lock and roll and wired a 7 pin plug for the trailer lights

changed the fan clutch......insurance as the spring on the front was rusty

serviced the engine........

The oil filter on this thing is just a tad bigger than a can of red bull--------I thought the parts guy had made a mistake when i picked it up.

Seemingly Nissan don't think there's much to filter out------the air filter on the other hand is the size of a bucket.

Wired a 3 way 12 volt receptical in the rear for the fridge, through the chassis the whole way- no C channel on this baby

Greased me UJ's, changed my fuel filter

soon to be added

Storage drawers
gear guard between boot and passengers
fridge
rack for mounting sand ladders
winch-----surprisingly Nissan can supply a warn winch mount which sits behind the standard bumper, you just notch out a hole for the fairlead..

here's a few pics !
