Amazing. I was going up that route at Devils Punch bowl two weekends ago. Talk about being nervousness on edge! Good shots there!

Interesting fact. Overheated the jku on the way up from the creek and had to stop at the midway point (trail wraps the boulder in the middle point). Had a guy in a tj come up and check on me. Said his jku overheats all the time to the same point while going up. Every other part I was fine (left Marble and went to Crested Butte.

Ha! That is interesting, I'll have to pay attention next time I go up the trail and see if mine does the same. These 3.6 engines run very hot, they make a lot of power for the size but after adding the gauge, I'm constantly surprised by the coolant temps!

Thank you for the measurement. I went out again and measured mine. They are sitting at 10" from the bracket to the tube where you measured somewhere around 11.5". The specs that I requested from teraflex:

Front, 1863202- LOAD : 1110 LBS @ 13.75"

Rear, 1864202 LOAD : 930 LBS @ 13.5

I assume they measure from spring "tip" to "tip", which might yield about 12.5"-13" on your set up.
I might have to go with their 4" spring in order to get the desired lift height (the height the kit was designed to deliver) back, but this measurement helped a lot as I move forward. I really appreciate it, and will let you know what I end up with at the end of the month.

Sounds good, best of luck! I hope you end up with the suspension you want!

Just browsed your thread, awesome pictures and videos! Really enjoyed them, that's some beautiful scenery! Nice Jeep too.

Appreciate the kind comments, we've been having fun with the Jeep! Here's a pic from last weekend....

Great video great places....

Thanks, appreciate it!

Nice Pic. Cant watch the vid, but I am sure it's great.

Thanks, a friend Marty took it... turned out great!

The vid is ok... ;)

Put the JKU to work today, as a tow rig! I dragged home a CJ2a project... may be awhile before I get to it, but that's OK! The JKU actually tows pretty well, the CJ2a doesn't have an engine, transmission or t-case so it was pretty light and I stayed in town, so didn't go over 60 MPH.

Hey Greg - did you ever consider the Magnaflow 15117? I know the 15115 has a resonator so it's probably a bit quieter but curious if you had any opinions on the 15117. Thanks!

I was able to hear the Magnaflow 15115 on a friend's Jeep in Moab before i purchased it and I was pretty impressed with what I heard, it has a healthy tone without sounding annoying.

In my experience these 3.6 liter Pentastar engines need a quality resonator badly, they are very loud without. There are times with my current exhaust that it's almost a little too loud in my opinion, mostly when on the freeway and at high RPMs climbing a hill.

After my experience with the crappy Dynomax exhaust, I believe that you would be much better off getting the MagnaFlow exhaust that does come with the resonator.
